Upgrade the CLI

Upgrade the CLI with the same package manager you installed it with:

brew update && brew upgrade infisical

winget upgrade infisical

scoop update infisical

npm update -g @infisical/cli

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install --only-upgrade -y infisical

sudo yum update infisical

sudo apk update && sudo apk upgrade infisical

yay -S infisical-bin

Check which version you have now:

infisical --version

The CLI releases list what changed in each version.

If an upgrade on Linux fails because the package repository can’t be reached, your machine may still point at the old Cloudsmith repository. See Migrate off Cloudsmith.
