Infisical 2024 Wrapped – Our Biggest Year Yet

As we wrap up an incredible year at Infisical, we’ve taken a moment to reflect on our biggest product milestones in 2024. From launching 25+ major features to strengthening our global presence, this year has been pivotal on our path to redefining secrets management.

What Infisical Year Looked Like

January: New Year, New Backend

Started the year by migrating to Postgres and making our Node.js SDK 90% smaller. Plus, we added secret fallback support to all SDKs and launched our .NET SDK.

February: Love for Enterprise

SAML got better with org-scoped authentication enforcement, SCIM support landed for Okta, Azure, and JumpCloud, and our Terraform provider got some serious upgrades.

March: Dynamic Secrets

Dynamic Secrets made their debut, along with Additional Privileges – because sometimes roles need a little extra help.

April: Spring Cleaning Your Access Controls

We introduced Access Requests and Temporary Access provisioning – making secrets management more self-serve and automated.

May: May the Force Be With Your Secrets

Cloud native auth methods? Check (AWS, GCP, Azure, Kubernetes). Secret sharing with encrypted links? You got it. New Jenkins plugin? Absolutely. Plus, we hit AWS Marketplace – making it easier than ever to get started with Infisical.

June: Summer of Innovation

Infisical PKI and OIDC Authentication made their grand entrance, alongside our new Go SDK. We also launched our public secret sharing tool – try it out!

July: Independence from Complexity

We released the official Ruby SDK, AWS KMS wrapping (BYOK style), and CLI users got SSO login in non-browser environments. Plus, we launched Slack Webhooks.

August: Hot Summer Updates

Azure DevOps integration landed, and we gave CLI users the gift of hot-reload variables (--watch flag). Plus, we made certificate management less stressful with new alerting features. Oh, and Redis joined our dynamic secrets family!

September: Secret Sauce Gets Spicier

Remember when we made your secrets management even smoother with Slack integration for access requests? We also launched our PKI Issuer for Kubernetes and added support for older .NET versions – nobody gets left behind!

October: Going Global!

We launched Infisical EU Cloud, giving our European users their own dedicated infrastructure. Plus, we rolled out organization-wide 2FA and dropped some serious heat with our Databricks integration and Infisical KMS.

November: Reliability, Speed, and Stability

November brought huge reliability, speed, and stability improvements to the whole platform. We also released Dynamic Secrets for Snowflake and many other databases.

December: A New Product Line

We wrapped up 2024 by releasing Infisical SSH to help our users generate SSH credentials and provide secure, centralized SSH access control for infrastructure.

What's Next?
